For years…

For years… I thought success was building something you could hold onto. A business. A home. A reputation. A life that felt familiar. Lately, I’ve been learning something different. Sometimes the next chapter asks you to loosen your grip on the current one. This move isn’t just about leaving the Bay Area. It’s about choosing a different future for our family. One that we believe will give us more margin. More opportunity. More time together. A place where our kids can continue building lives they’re proud of. That doesn’t make the decision easy. For the past 23 years, entrepreneurship has shaped who I am. The Bay Area shaped who I became. Many of our closest friendships were built here. Our kids grew up here. Some of our biggest victories happened here. So did some of our hardest seasons. You don’t pack that into moving boxes. You carry it with you. I’ve learned something through entrepreneurship. Growth has never shown up after certainty. It has always shown up after a decision. The business. The risks. The setbacks. The rebuilds. Every meaningful chapter started before I knew how it would end. This one feels no different. We’re not moving because we’re running away from something. We’re moving toward the life we believe God is calling our family to build. That doesn’t remove the fear. It simply gives the fear less influence. If you’re standing in front of a decision that’s been keeping you up at night… Maybe the question isn’t… “What if this doesn’t work?” Maybe it’s… “What kind of life am I building if I never take the step?” I’d love to know. Have you ever made a decision that completely changed the direction of your family’s future? 👇 Tell me your story.
