From Renters to Homeowners: Alisha and Sophia’s Dream Home Journey in Alameda County
Congrats to Alisha and Sophia for purchasing their very first home! 🎉 I have known Alisha since the days of high school and we had great memories together. When we reconnected, I was surprised to find out that she was in the market for a home. She and her friends have been renting larger homes together. However, year after year, she constantly had to find a new place to rent due to reasons like owners wanting to remodel, owners wanting to sell, or because the house was just not that comfortable to live in. She was frustrated with the rental market and wanted the stability of owning her own home. We toured every single week for months and probably looked at over 100 homes before we found one that was perfect for her situation and fit within her budget. It was just in time too, because her yearly lease was almost about to end. Now, she’s moving with her sister, 3 friends, and her dog into a turnkey home that has amazing ADU potential and plenty of driveway space for everyone’s cars. I’m so happy to be a part of this milestone and I wish you a happy homeownership!
