Since then, I have pursued a career of software development in tech and consulting, which eventually evolved into project management by 2021. In 2024, I received my real estate license and began practicing real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. Congrats to Stan and Jaclyn for purchasing their very first home! 🎉🎉 Stan and Jaclyn were looking for a home to start their family. They knew exactly what neighborhood and school district they wanted for their future children, and chose cities close to their workplaces. They ended up falling in love with a unique, one-of-a-kind 2-bed 2-bath property with a den. It has a large backyard for their dog, and plenty of space for not only their work-from-home setup, but also for the in-laws and their new baby that’s coming! I’m so proud to be the one to help them find this lovely home and have them for my very first client.

Congrats to Wai for purchasing his very first home! 🎉🎉 I met Wai through a close friend of mine, and he told me that he had a terrible experience during his home searching process with his previous real estate agents and was convinced that he just didn’t make enough to afford to own a home. I promised him not to worry, and that I would be with him every step of the way. The challenge that I needed to overcome was making sure the property fit within his tight budget, and that proved to be hard when the span of HOA fees could potentially push a property just out of his range. For 5 months, I pulled down every property in a 10-city radius that was within his pre-approved amount and calculated the monthly cost including the HOA to find out exactly which ones he could afford. We looked at a myriad of properties, including older condos, updated condos, studios, and BMRs. We even came across many condos and HOAs that were undergoing balcony repair issues due to the new law that was put into place. After a few rejected offers and a denied loan, Wai finally secured a place to call his own in Hayward, CA. It was a top floor unit that featured vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. Location was ideal for him since it was situated perfectly in the halfway point of his work and his friends. The move from renting a small room to owning his own 1-bed 1-bath property brought a lot of light back into his life. He couldn’t thank me enough for helping him achieve his dream that he had almost given up on.

Congrats to Alisha and Sophia for purchasing their very first home! 🎉 I have known Alisha since the days of high school and we had great memories together. When we reconnected, I was surprised to find out that she was in the market for a home. She and her friends have been renting larger homes together. However, year after year, she constantly had to find a new place to rent due to reasons like owners wanting to remodel, owners wanting to sell, or because the house was just not that comfortable to live in. She was frustrated with the rental market and wanted the stability of owning her own home. We toured every single week for months and probably looked at over 100 homes before we found one that was perfect for her situation and fit within her budget. It was just in time too, because her yearly lease was almost about to end. Now, she’s moving with her sister, 3 friends, and her dog into a turnkey home that has amazing ADU potential and plenty of driveway space for everyone’s cars. I’m so happy to be a part of this milestone and I wish you a happy homeownership!

Congrats to Dan for purchasing his new build work-live townhouse! 🎉 Funnily enough, I met Dan on my travels to Richmond, VA. Once we got into conversation, I found out that not only did we live in the same city, but we went to the same high school! Dan owns a small business selling merchandise, so he was looking for a home that had enough space on the first floor to hold his inventory. He didn’t want to have to deal with lugging boxes of inventory up and down the stairs. We ended up finding the perfect solution for him: a live-work townhouse where the first floor was a retail front and the floors above were his residential. He plans on using the retail front as his office to manage his business, so that he can still have some separation between his personal life and work. I’m so happy to be a part of your milestone and I wish you a happy homeownership!
