Dear Om, Congratulations! đđđ Today, as you head to Berkeley, our hearts are filled with pride, gratitude, and happiness. It feels like yesterday that we brought you to Berkeley as a tiny infant to celebrate Dadâs graduation. And today, we are bringing you back to begin a journey of your own. Life truly has come full circle. â¤ď¸ Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of our greatest joys. Graduating as Valedictorian, winning the NDCA National Championship, Top Speaker at many tournaments, and becoming a finalist at the Tournament of Champions are incredible accomplishments. We know the long hours, sacrifices, setbacks, perseverance, and quiet determination behind each one. But our greatest pride goes far beyond your achievements. It is in seeing you stay grounded, build lifelong friendships, coach and encourage younger debaters, and create a community wherever you go. It is in watching the beautiful bond you share with Shreeramâgrowing from two little brothers under one roof into each otherâs friends, supporters, and confidants. As Dad and I become empty nesters, we look back and wonder how all those little everyday moments passed so quickly. Today, our home may become quieter, but our hearts couldnât be fuller. We feel incredibly blessed to watch both our boys spread their wings and create their own journeys. Om, take that determination, kindness, curiosity, and grounded spirit with you to Berkeley.
