From First Home to Growing Family: Celebrating New Beginnings in Elk Grove

Some closings are transactions. And then there are the ones that become a little piece of your heart. 🤍🔑 Lindsay and Jesse started this journey with me back in May, looking for their family’s first home. And when I say we looked at homes… we LOOKED at homes. 😂 More than 50 homes, a couple of offers, a few heartbreaks, and more than one house that seemed like the one—until we found the things that just weren’t quite right. We lost out on homes that were beautifully presented, priced well, and received multiple offers. But we kept going. And then we found this one. A home that had sat on the market a little longer. The sellers had already made repairs and reduced the price—and we still found a way to negotiate seller credits on top of all of that. It was a huge win for Lindsay and Jesse, and exactly why patience, strategy, and having someone in your corner matters. But the best part of this closing had nothing to do with the negotiation. When I handed them their keys, Lindsay and Jesse shared some very special news. Earlier that afternoon, they had gone to their doctor’s appointment and received the results they had been waiting for. They were having another baby. 💙 And somehow, in the middle of handing a young family the keys to their very first home, I got to witness them reveal the beginning of another chapter of their lives. It was such a beautiful moment. Because this is why I do what I do. It’s the late nights. The contracts. The negotiations. The homes that don’t work. The offers we lose. The stress, the uncertainty, and all the moments where you just keep telling your clients, “We’re going to find the right one.” And then one day, you’re standing there handing them the keys—and realizing you didn't just help them buy a house. You helped them find the place where their family is going to grow. Lindsay and Jesse, thank you for trusting me, for being patient with the process, and for letting me be part of such a beautiful and unforgettable moment in your lives. And thank you for the sweetest card. Your words meant more to me than you know. ❤️ Congratulations 🏡🔑 Your first home. Your growing family. Your next chapter.
