“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”
-Psalms 145:4

Selling our family home is so surreal. My grandmother, Lillian, bought this house in 1976. She scraped together $500 for the down payment. And over the next 50 years she created a home, a refuge, and a lifetime of memories. She raised seven men between two generations. And did so with love, toughness, and an unwavering faith.

Cooking was her love language. I will always miss walking in her home and smelling whatever magic she was cooking up.

Selling her home was not done out of selfish intent but obedience. This is what she wanted. And what she wanted has been done.
